we got our test back . I passed. Thats good ._. but i think i can do better .
Thursday :
Literature Full Dress Rehearsal . We all forgotten to bring the costume and props . I think it was a misunderstanding because i heard from Mr Chua that it was a rehearsal . We were to be blame as we did not clarified with Mr Chua . He was disappointed . My group was first to perform, we did very badly . There was alot of mistakes . Example, our voices was too soft, then there was no actions . I think we could do better .

monday :
Class Test ! Is was kind of HARD ! i Don't know but i think i'll fail . Blame me for not studying :(
Thursday :
Classmates got scolded for stepping out of the class without a permission pass . Typical, every Literature lesson get scolding . When will this stop. i mean STOP getting scolded . after that Mr Chua asked about our Literature Play . He then gave a worksheet about a picture of an african girl . He gave us 10 mins i think to describe the picture . After 10 mins we were told to group into 4 . We were told to read each others description and write down the best description . The picture shows that there is a drought in the country as the ground/land is yellowish . The girl look abnormal as the body was not normally propotion . The girl is actually crawling to an food aid station . This picture taught me lot like never waste food as other people sometimes dont even have food to eat .

Monday :
Mr Chua came in with Mr Naz , i thought Mr Naz was going to take over Mr Chua's class but no , he was there as a relieved teacher apparently Mr Chua is busy, before going off Mr chua gave out a piece of worksheet about Mighty Mandarin . After Mr Chua left, Mr Naz told us to do our assignment quietly. We were told to hand in our assignment when the bell rang , we were really quiet . Well that an improvement !
Friday :
The lesson was a total disappointment . Its about copying others work . The person was told to see Mr Chua after the lesson . Her behavior towards her studies is a disappointment . It shows that she does not care about her studies .After all that nonsense ,Mr Chua gave us back our are you Lonsome tonight worksheet .. i was pleased at my result . it seems that i am improving , YAY !

We were told to go to the CEPP Corner, we were our having play rehearsal . We were given 10 mins forour rehearsal . Most of the actors didnt memorized their lines . i am getting worried about the performance . As most of the actors in my group does not cooperate well . While the actors are acting, director,set decorators & wardrobe designers was to sit infront of the stage and watch the group's rehearsal . They were told to write down their feedback on a piece of paper , and the feedback is to be shared after the rehearsal is finished . Most of my feedback was positive . Which is my voice is loud enough,there is eye contact ..
After the 10 mins , we were told to settle down and give our overall feedback to the whole class . Most of our feedback used little thinking skills . After hearing a few feedbacks, Mr Chua showed the actors "Romeos & Juliets " how to fake kiss , mr chua choose Daryl as his demonstrator.. It was really awkward for Daryl but funny for us

He then showed us our learning logs result , i was dissapointed with myself as Mr Chua said my learning log used very little thinking skills

The whole class students were told to stand up . Then, Mr Chua called out names . Whose names were called out were instructed to seat back down on our seats . Those whose names were not called out were made to stand . then, Mr Chua lectured them about submitting assignments on time .. After the lectured, Mr chua gave out a piece of assignments . the assignments were due on Monday next week and must be put inside the tray in class before Literature lesson starts .
Today Mr chua had not discussed about AYLT but he showed videos of the plays done by sec 2 during 2009 .The first play was about Venice of Merchant. The play was okay but i could hear the voices of the characters .The next play was Romeo & Juliet . The way they did the play was interesting , but i could hardly hear their voices . But the play was acceptable as they did not took the debating workshops like we did .
Mr Chua said that we were going to do a rehearsal soon .. I hope my group would co - operate with each other and come for meetings and practise ..

we continued with the Literature lesson . Mr Tyrus asked questions again . Its like a routine of his. I was prepared to be called but i guess i was lucky because i wasn't called to answer his questions . All of Mr Tyrus quetions seems logic if you had not read the text but had understand what Mr Tyrus lesson you might be able to answer most of the question .

what i thought Redhead is called Redhead maybe because of her hair is red, or maybe that Redhead is not an imporatant person to elvis so he don't even bother to remember her name, or maybe Redhead is described by her personality which is short tempered .

We learn about Elvis Presly .we learn that he is popular . But died because of overdose of drugs. I read the text about " Are you lonesome tonight ." My conclusion of " Are you lonsome tonight " are as the followings : i think Elvis Presley took drugs because maybe because his career just took off and he had been pressurized by his friends or family. Another reason why he took drugs maybe because all of his family members left him, and he is al alone with nobody . The People that left him are the most closest to him, they are his mother, Gladys , his wife ,his daughter, Marie and his brother, Jesse.
We were told to write on a fodscap about what we know about him ..
Then Mr chua wanted to us a video of Elvis Presley but cannot because someone off the audio just for fun . Mr Chua was furious .. We ended the lesson like that .We had no time to watch the video as the bell had rung.

He also told us about the end of year examinations citerias .

The homework for today was to do a research about the people who work in a theatrical production .

Today we played a game called Shakespeare millionaire first Ms Malyana group us into four.. The game Shakespeare millionaire is like a revision because the game is about answering question related to Literature .the revision is most about Merchant of Venice. when the question is flashed out on the screen . Ms Maly will call a group number and that group has to answer the question that was flashed out. but then most of us were making noise so ms maly stop the lesson
THURSDAY & FRIDAY
On thursday, our History teacher was sick. So Ms Maly was our relived teacher,she continued with her lesson where she left out on monday.. But we didn't played shakespeare millionaire ms maly gave us a worksheet on MOV. we had to do it as revision the MCQ questions was quite easy but for the structure questions was difficult .
On Friday,Ms maly gave us another worksheet on ROMEO & JULIET . the question was hard we didn't have enough time to finish the worksheet so Ms Maly told us to do it as homework
Anyways Literature mid year exams are coming about a week away, i think..

This week we had to performed a scene about the play Macbeth. Our play was held in the classroom. I thought that the play was awful because some of the students didn't memorize their lines and some even didnt wore any costumes . I'm still mad because if we had done well on the play on monday, we can just forward on to our Literature revises .. By the way the Literature mid year exams is weeks away . Term 2 week 3 This week, we are not so tense like other lesson. We did prepare for the Mcbeth acting. But Ms Malyana told us that it is going to be postpone on next Monday. So we had lot of time to prepare. Ms Malyana showed us some videos of students making the Mcbeth scene. They used their creativity in doing the scene of Mcbeth. Some of them used clay, some was acting as a modern with and some changed their script.

MONDAY
This week we had a drama class. We had to volunteer ourselves. Ms Malyana gave us a scenario about robbery, the volunteers were told to act out a scene where they had to go into a house and steal something heavy.After that scenario, we had to create a moving picture.
we had to volunteer 10 pupils to start the moving picture. The pupils cannot talk, the moving picture is like a silent movie The volunteers was creative and they did quite a good job in making the moving picture.Ms Maly add a few more students inside the 'the silent movie'. From a movie that is about traveler inside the jungle the 'the silent movie turned into a fairy tale where trees can walk. The whole story was very funny.
After finishing the moving picture, Ms Maly told us to get back to our sits and she gave us a small little piece of paper. We were told to write a feedback on what we had learnt and what we want to learn.
FRIDAY
We had no lessons because it is a public holiday ( Good Friday ). But still i have to type about something that is related to Literature. No School

The 20th century brought demands for symbolism or psychological insight in the delineation and development of character.

TERM 2 WEEK 1
term 2 week 1
This week we had our Common test papers back. After a few minutes of going through the papers. We were told to put our things aside and push the tables and chairs to the side of the classroom. Ms Malyana told us to spread ourselves around the space in the middle of the classroom. She told us to close our eyes and imagine walking.
There are a variety of walking , heavy steps, light steps etc.
Ms Malyana told us to walk in different speed . At first, walk at the speed of 1 then 2 and till the speed of 7. Then, she told us to create a group. The group has to be multi-racial. My group consist of two Malays and a Chinese. They are Zaimah, myself and Hong Rong. Ms Malyana said that we will have to perform the story about Macbeth. The performance was sheduled on the 9th of April on Friday.Its like 3 weeks from now. We had to create the costume and props by ourselves. This teaches us to be independent.
On Friday, we had to do the same thing but walk like a child, grandmother, and gangster.

this week we learn about the topic on LOVE. We were given a paper and make the paper into a brochure. We had to create a name for our brochure. My brochure name was " A Another Love Story" Then we had to asked 5 girls and 5 boys what qualities their future partners must have . Out of the qualities i have asked my friends, the most essential for me is Honesty. We need honest because if we are not honest to each of our partner, the other partner may not believe in what we are doing now.

This we we had three lesson .
First lesson was on Romeo and Juliet . We were group into two . We had to do a mind - map about the character traits of the characters in Romeo and Juliet . My partner and i had to a mind - map on Romeo . The character traits we found was eloquent,intelligent,charming and gentleman. My partner and i work together very well . We take turns drawing and writing.
Second lesson we elobrated on the the 'what is mercy' . One of the people of each religion was told to read out what they wrote about how their god is merciful .
A Buddhist example of God's :

Hindus believe in reincarnation and karma. Hindus are exepected merciful like Brahma,who is himself merciful.
A Muslim example of God's mercy :

My partner and i had to a mind - map on Romeo . The character traits we found was eloquent,intelligent,charming and gentleman. My partner and i work together very well . We take turns drawing and writing.
Second lesson we elobrated on the the 'what is mercy' . One of the people of each religion was told to read out what they wrote about how their god is merciful .
A Buddhist example of God's :
Let thousand of people receive the light of mercifulness
Let thousand of people bathe in great grace of human
Let thousand of people transend from the sea of suffering
Do not compare with others ,
Do not compete with others .
Establish a right of objective
Do not hesitate and do not hinder yourself .
Accept the suffering and live with the sufferings
A Christian example of God's mercy :
God loves someone .No matter how many times someone sins against him,he gives us chances . For his glory and mercy endures forever . A love that outdoes wrong and a love that covers multiples of sin .
A Hindu example of God's mercy :
Hindus believe in reincarnation and karma. Hindus are exepected merciful like Brahma,who is himself merciful.
A Muslim example of God's mercy :
Allah lets us repent our sins as long as we pray to him and beg for forgiveness through our daily prayers .
This lesson is very important because if we do not respect other religion or races, racial riot and civil wars might start.
The third lesson was that we were group into a grou[ of two and were brought to the movers and shakers . we were given a piece of paper and was told to answer all the answers . My partner and i worked together very well we don't squable over minor problems

this week we learn about the Qualities of mercy .
this week we were asked if it right for Shylock to kill Antonio ?
In my opinion, Shylock was not right to kill Antonio because in every religion thier god / gods teach them to be forgiving and to have patience .if Antonio insulted Sylock's religion , Shylock should have walk away. if he had stayed there would possibly have a racial riot .
we were also asked if was it right for the court to say that Shylock must not be a Jew and must be a Christian ?
In my opinion , the court was not right to force Shylock to be a Christian . As everyone has the right to believe in what they want to believe in.If Shylock wants to be a Jewish no one can stop him in believing in .

This week we learn about whether Antonio or Shylock is the good guy or the bad guy .
The question in the worksheet was :
"Do you think Shylock is right to demand to murder Antonio ? "
My answer was yes . Shylock is right to demand murder Antonio because Antonio is not able to repay his debt, and the bond Shylock wrote clearly said that he is allowed to cut one pound flesh of Antonio if Antonio does not pay his debt.
In real if you do not pay your debt to the loanshark . They will do anything to harm you.
Example , harm your family members and make you feel embarassed .They make you feel embarassed by vandilising your house .
